He has detailed his story in his blog which went viral after few hours when he posts it. Diallo has been working in an organization from eight months when one day his key card stopped working.
"When I scanned my key card at the turnstile, it flashes red, made a grumpy beep, and refused to disengage", he said.
Mr Diallo’s unfolded the bizarre sequence of event that started when his entry pass to the Los Angeles skyscraper where his office was located failed to work, forcing him to rely on the security guard to allow him entry.
when he reached to his floor, he went to see his manager so that he could let her know and she promised to order him a new key card right away. Things starts getting worst when he was logged out of his work system and colleague told him that he is inactive in a list. But it
doesn't stop here, after the lunch he had to wait 10 minutes for a co worker to let him back into the office again.
For next few days he continued to work, using a temporary badge given by the security guard Jose, but he was locked out of his every system except his Linux machine and unable to log back in. He was informed by his recruiter that she has received an email saying that his contract is terminated.

Mr. Diallo company was undergoing system changes where all the data was in process of shifting from old to new software. Upon his inquiry regarding his termination, he was told not to worry and continue working as it was just a system error which will be resolved sooner.

Just like this after few days two security guard appeared at his desk and informed him that they are there to escort him out of the building because they have received an email from the system, alarming to escort Mr Diallo out of the building as he is no more an employee of the said organization.

Mr. Diallo further explained in his blog about the shortcoming of the system that once it disables any employee, there is no option available to re-enable it while an email will be automatically generated to the security about it.

"Automation can be an asset to a company, but there needs to be a way for humans to take over if the machine makes a mistake," he writes.
It took three weeks to Mr Diallo's bosses to figure out why he was fired and he was unable to come at work till then. His company was going through system changes so Mr Diallo's bosses rehired him in the new system.
